Basic Self Defense Course Register View Cart

This is a beginner course for those wishing to learn the basics of self defense. Each class will comprise of warms ups, blocking, strikes, punches, kicks, and defense against grabs and attacks. Through repetition these self-defense actions taught in class become internalized, thus gaining muscle memory and improved reflexes. As classes progress the moves increase in complexity to mimic real life scenarios to help escape to a safe area. This session is 12 classes and meets twice a week. Our instructor, Sam Shulman, is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and has over 30 years of defensive training. Please visit https://bodyfitwarehouse.org for more information on this program and instructor. This course will be held in the Gathering Room at SBP on Feb 4, 6, 18, 20, 25, March 3, 10 & 12. It will be held at the North Barn Pavilion at Holcomb Farm on Feb 11, 13, 21, and March 5.  Please be sure to fill out the attached waiver and bring to the first class with you for the instructor.
