Please bring a yoga mat, blanket/towel and water. This 7 week course is open to puppies and dogs that know the basic obedience commands like sit, down, touch, come and walking nicely on leash. This class is geared to take your dog to the next level of training. You will take the behaviors your dog knows and work on them using a variety of distractions, increased distance and duration. We will slowly increase the criteria each dog is able to succeed at. We will also be working on getting your dogs to work for us without a treat on our bodies. 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM    Election Day Granby Bears Youth Basketball Clinic - Election Day Granby Bears Youth Basketball Clinic: Grades K-4th
Led by the Granby Memorial Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, Mike D'Angelo, join us on Election Day for a fun 2 hour Co-ED skills clinic outdoors at Salmon Brook Park. Coach D'Angelo, his coaching staff and players will work with the kids on ball handling, passing, shooting and incorporate skills games. It is a great way to spend a day off from school and get some outdoor exercise. Each participant should bring their own basketball and water bottle. Masks will be required when not actively playing.

After a great success during the summer and all of the uncertainty with plans around covid, we want to continue our volleyball outside for a while. Coach Cindy and her staff will offer you some volleyball after your school day. Whether learning to play for the first time or for those with more experience, our volleyball program moves the young athletes toward their goals. There will be more courts available. Every player will play in a group of their own skill/age level. Both individual and small group instructions will be provided. Players will learn and refine their volleyball skills, passing, setting, hitting, and serving.Each practice will be packed full of fun and drills, games, and activities. And did we mention fun? Lots of fun!! Free shirt included!*You will need to wear a mask when you are not actively playing.*No class on 9/29 & 10/8 & 10/13

Anoutdoor morning yoga experience incorporating breath, balance, flexibility, focus and fun.Rachel will lead the group through movements and yoga postures both standing and down on the mat that build strength, balance and mobility, while encouraging relaxation and release.Modifications offered to accommodate common injuries and limitations. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket/towel and water. Optional items: yoga blocks, strap.  You can pay for the whole session or pay per class.Class will be held in the outdoor band shell if weather permits or inside in the Gathering Room.

Join Katie, Registered Dietitian from Food Explorers to do some cooking on your afternoon off from school! You'll make your own snack and dinner and learn all about cooking. We'll be making Garlic Knots and Loaded Veggie Tater Tot Nachos (from scratch, of course!). Social distancing guidelines will be followed, masks will be worn as well as food safety gloves at all times. Recipes are nut free but will contain dairy and eggs.
